Between 07:11 UTC and 09:27 UTC on October 20, our encoding service in the us-east-1 region was impacted by an ongoing AWS outage. During this time, encoding jobs in us-east-1 could not start and were therefore queued in our system. Some jobs may also have failed.
This incident was caused by an AWS service disruption in us-east-1. The same issue also affected our ability to post timely updates to this page, which is why notification was delayed.
As of 09:27 UTC, AWS reported significant signs of recovery. Encoding jobs in us-east-1 are now starting successfully, and queued jobs are being processed.
